Psychologists will provide expert testimony or consultation in a wide range of legal contexts, such as criminal and civil trials, child custody disputes, and personal injury cases which include evaluation of individuals' mental health or psychological functioning, assess the credibility of witnesses or defendants, or provide recommendations for treatment or rehabilitation.
